Pachyrhizodus
Section Introduction
- Pachyrhizodus was a 2-meter marine fish during the Late Cretaceous period, fossil remains found in Kansas, Texas and Alabama of the US. It was possibly a prey of Xiphactinus, based on its bones collected in the stomachs of 5.8 meter-long Xiphactinus.
