Sharks in Korea
Section Introduction Section Introduction
  • Sharks have fins and breathe with gills, and unlike regular fish, sharks are characterized by a cartilaginous skeleton, made of cartilage like the human nose and ears. Visitors can view the various sharks living in the seas of Korea, from the small-sized catsharks (Scyliorhinidae) to large-sized common thresher sharks (Alopias vulpinus).
