- Parking rate exemptions and reductions
- 1.The following vehicles are exempt from parking rates:
- A.Government and press coverage vehicles
- B.Vehicles verified by the visiting department
- C.Vehicles with individuals classified under Grade 1 to 6 disability as per the "Act on Welfare of Persons with Disabilities" who possess a registration certificate for a person with disability (limited to vehicles with a mark indicating use by persons with disabilities)
- D.Vehicles of persons of distinguished service to the state or their bereaved families as per the "Act on the Honorable Treatment of and Support for Persons of Distinguished Service to the State" with a certificate of persons of distinguished service to the state or bereaved family issued by the Minister of Patriots and Veterans Affairs
- E.Vehicles of persons of distinguished service to independence or their family members or bereaved family members as per the "Act on the Honorable Treatment of Persons of Distinguished Service" to Independence with a certificate of persons of distinguished service to independence or bereaved family issued by the Minister of Patriots and Veterans Affairs
- F.50% discount with Seoul Multi-Child Happiness Card
- 2.Front-steering motor vehicles as per Article 3 of the "Motor Vehicle Management Act" and Article 2 of its Enforcement Rule and low-emission vehicles as per Article 2 of the "Special Act on the Improvement of Air Quality in Seoul Metropolitan Area" and Article 3 of its Enforcement Decree are entitled to a 50% discount on the parking fee.
- ※Due to the legislative amendment effective April 3, 2020, diesel vehicles do not qualify as a low-emission vehicle.
- 1.The following vehicles are exempt from parking rates:
- Please pay the parking rate as you exit the parking lot.
- If the parking lot is full, please follow the guidance of the parking staff and use the nearby temporary parking lot (schoolyard of Yeonbuk Middle School) and pay the 2,000 KRW (no additional charges) for the schoolyard to the parking staff.
※ Paragraphs 1 and 2 also apply when using the temporary parking lot. - Please be aware that large buses for group visitors may often be unable to park during weekends and peak periods during breaks. We kindly ask for your cooperation in the guidance and direction of the parking staff.
- The parking lot is free to the public on days when the museum is closed.
