Section Introduction
- The whales of now evolved from ocean dwellers to land-dwellers then developed again to the ocean. Marine mammals are largely divided into three categories of Cetacea, Pinnipedia, and Manatus. We can examine the characteristics and ecology of the various marine mammals.
